Located in Granite Falls, North Carolina, Sales Manager Dee Hubbard said the dealership serves customers throughout a huge region, including the western North Carolina areas of Lake Rhodhiss, Lake Hickory, Lake James and Lake Norman, eastern Tennessee, the northeast region of Alabama and even western Virginia.

Tri-County Marine & Sports Center is slated to get its first delivery of Carolina Skiff boats this Wednesday, March 6.

Hubbard, who has almost 25 years experience working in boat sales, said he recently came back to working at Tri-County Marine & Sports Center after living away from the area for the past seven years in North Carolina’s Outer Banks.

During his time away, Hubbard said he worked at a different dealership on the coast selling Carolina Skiffs. When he moved back to the Granite Falls area and rejoined the team at Tri-County Marine & Sports Center, Hubbard encouraged his boss, dealership Owner Mike Carr, to add the well-known brand to the company’s product offering.

Because of his experience with the brand, Hubbard said he believes Carolina Skiff is perfect for the inland lakes and waterways surrounding Granite Falls.

“I’m excited that [Carr] was willing to go with my gut with Caroline Skiff and move forward with them,” said Hubbard, “and I’m excited for the opportunity to give our customer base a new option for fiberglass center consoles. [Carolina Skiff] is a very well-known, well-respected brand.”
