Being in Coastal North Carolina I wanted a boat that would run shallow so I did my research and chose the CS J-16 with a F40 Yamaha. I found out that if the water was not deep enough to run this boat in, there was no water! Absolutely phenomenal how skinny this boat will plane through.

I joined CarolinaSkiffOwner.com at the same time I purchased my boat and through their forums and the helpful people there, I now have my boat outfitted exactly like I want it and it spends a LOT of time on the briney. There is absolutely nothing you can't do with a Carolina Skiff!

My Name is Griffin Kiger form Wallburg/Carolina Beach, NC and I got my 24' Skiff in 2006 to start my chater business as Old Reddy Drum Sportfishing, and I got my boat when I got out of High School, which I am now in college getting my Fire Protection Technology Degree and will start my chaters this summer of 2009.
