I own a 2008 238DLV with 175HP Suzuki and i really love this boat. I bought this boat to use in shallow water and also to take out by my self or with my kids. I really like this boat, is very functional for skinny water, cost very little to maintain and operate. I'm also an active member of CSO. www.carolinaskiffowner.com . This is one of the best skiff forums i've ever been, lots of info also. I would like to thank Carolina Skiff for this great product.

Being in Coastal North Carolina I wanted a boat that would run shallow so I did my research and chose the CS J-16 with a F40 Yamaha. I found out that if the water was not deep enough to run this boat in, there was no water! Absolutely phenomenal how skinny this boat will plane through.
I joined CarolinaSkiffOwner.com at the same time I purchased my boat and through their forums and the helpful people there, I now have my boat outfitted exactly like I want it and it spends a LOT of time on the briney. There is absolutely nothing you can't do with a Carolina Skiff!

My Name is Griffin Kiger form Wallburg/Carolina Beach, NC and I got my 24' Skiff in 2006 to start my chater business as Old Reddy Drum Sportfishing, and I got my boat when I got out of High School, which I am now in college getting my Fire Protection Technology Degree and will start my chaters this summer of 2009.
I first got started with Capt. Andy Everhart of Southern sportfishing out of Carolina Beach, NC his website is www.southernsportfishing.net if you want to check it out! His first boat was a Skiff 24' DLX and I wanted one so I bought mine and I am trying to get my business started.

I just ordered my second Carolina Skiff, a 16 DLX, from Gulf Marine in Panama City Florida. I purchased my first skiff, a J14 CC, there in 2006. The dealer was just awesome, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I spent many a late night hours flounder gigging in the bays around Panama City and loved this little boat, but needed a little larger capacity. The J14 brought a good resale price and I can't wait to get my new 16 DLX.
Thank you for building such a quality boat at a price that doesn't break the bank. I feel totally secure and safe while navigating the coastal bays in the middle of the night while flounder gigging. I will send pictures once I take delivery and finish rigging.
