My Skiff at Work: Berlin Township Fire Department

We are very pleased with our decision to purchase a DLXEW2390 for use as a Fire/Rescue Boat. The craft is excellent for Fire/Rescue operations especially on inland lakes.

We have outfitted it nicely with radar, side scan sonar and GPS. Most of our personnel have been training in the boat's operation and everyone loves it.

This boat was 3 years in the making. I carefully studied our needs and put together what I felt was the best boat for our firefighters to use on Alum Creek Lake here in Delaware County Ohio. I worked with Duke of Dutch Harbor in North Benton and the result of our collaboration produced what I feel is one of the best small rescue boats available. Duke cut the dive door in the side and installed all electronics.

This boat is a good model due to it's wide beam and capacity. We have had 11 firefighters on this boat and with the 150 hp engine we still hit 40 mph. That is good!!!
